Larry Mangelshot, which promotes the goals of improved wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle. Born
from our own personal interest in health and fitness, both of us have undertaken various related
training courses over the years which allow us to offer a wide complement of services. We are
fully qualified and insured personal fitness trainers & sports/holistic massage therapists. We
have both attained Level 3 status on the government approved Register of Exercise Professionals
(REPs), currently the highest level available in the UK.

We both originally come from a business background. We have 20 years experience in internal audit
and banking and 16 years experience in various aspects of company management, administration,
sales, marketing, accounts and training and respectively. We both have a mutual interest in
sport, health and fitness.
Larry :
Larry :
- Is a competitive middle distance runner who has represented both Scotland and Great Britain in international competition.
- In 2005 he won the 800m British Mens over 40 title and is currently ranked amongst the fastest athletes in the UK over 800m, 1500m and 3000m in his age group.
- Holds the Premier Training International: Diploma in Personal Training, which also covers aspects such as exercise for special populations, optimum nutrition for health and fitness, circuit training, body massage and sports massage therapy.
- Is a qualified Boxercise instructor.
- Has undertaken various industry courses and regularly updates his skill base.
- Is a keen runner who competes regularly in events ranging from 5km road races up to half marathon, and marathon.
- As part of her own fitness regime, she has participated in exercise classes including yoga, pilates, aerobics, circuit training, boxercise, step and spinning.
- Holds the Premier Training International: Fitness Trainer Award.
- Is an ITEC qualified Holistic and Sports Massage therapist.
- Is a qualified Boxercise instructor and Yogafitness teacher.
- Has undertaken training in neuro-linguistic programming, NLP, and is able to offer advice on techniques that help motivate people to achieve their goals.
- Regularly attends industry courses and seminars covering massage and fitness related topics.
Sports massage services provided to Woodford Green with Essex Ladies Athletics Club, who
are at the top of the British League Division One for athletics and are currently the UK’s

Pre & post event massage at various running events – including the Triffic Trail 10km race in Trent Park. There is generally no charge at these events, but we do accept and pass on any charitable donations. Trent Park Running Club
Massage services provided at the London Marathon expo which all runners attend to collect their running number in readiness for the London Marathon.
Supporting Cancer Research with Massage Services.
We have worked with clients who have Multiple Sclerosis. This has involved swimming pool based exercise, proprioceptive and gentle resistance exercise, mobilizing movements and body massage. Our clients have reported feeling more relaxed and have experienced improvements in their sense of general wellbeing.
A free presentation on the importance of ‘Keeping Well with MS’, focusing on the specific needs of nutrition and exercise in people who have Multiple Sclerosis, was given to the Cheshunt & Broxbourne, and Enfield branches of the MS Society. We displayed various pieces of exercise equipment and offered advice on the importance of being active, combined with a healthy diet, balanced in all the nutrient groups to reduce the likelihood of onset of secondary illness. Supported the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre with fundraising activities including running the London Marathon. The MSRC believe also that "Life is for Living" and their Mission statement is to be a "proactive and innovative charity, passionately committed to supporting anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis through access to unbiased information and advice. Our approach is to encourage individuals to make choices that are appropriate to their daily lives, empowering them to maximise their potential".
They are the only UK based MS charity to provide a freephone, 24 hour Telephone Counselling Service that is available 365 days a year (tel: 0800 783 0518, option 1). They also produce a bi-monthly magazine called New Pathways that is distributed to 6000 people in 29 countries, in a printed format aswell as on cd (for those whose MS prohibits them from reading easily), aswell as producing various leaflets & books and hosting a 900 page website with chat and messaging facilities
